Preschool Program in Deforest

Our Preschool Program in Deforest at Little University of Vienna provides children ages 2 to 4 with a balanced mix of playful exploration and guided learning. We offer two thoughtfully designed levels—Blossoms and Saplings—so that each child learns at a pace suited to their stage of development.

Blossoms (approx. ages 2–3) In our Blossoms class, children develop foundational skills through immersive play and sensory experiences. We introduce early literacy through stories, songs, and discussion of everyday objects. Counting, sorting, and shape play foster early math thinking, while nature walks and observation spark curiosity and scientific thinking. Group play encourages children to share, take turns, and express ideas with growing confidence.

Saplings (approx. ages 3–4) In the Saplings class, children deepen their skills and prepare for kindergarten readiness. Literacy expands as children work with letters, rhymes, and emergent writing. Hands-on math projects involve counting games, patterning, and problem-solving challenges. Simple science experiments and nature explorations promote observation and inquiry. Social interactions grow richer through cooperative projects, role play, and peer communication. Creativity flourishes via art, music, and imaginative storytelling.

We believe a strong family-teacher partnership enriches the preschool experience.
